Most people freak out about taxes when they think of “home-based business.” Either they panic about what’s owed, or they just don’t save and get slammed later.

Here’s the deal: I’m not a tax expert, but my friend who is one shared a few hacks that blew my mind.

👉 If you simply attempt a home-based business — meaning you actually try to make sales (post online, share an offer, talk to people) — she says you could save up to $10K a year. Just for trying.

👉 And it gets even better. In 2025, the number is around $16K you can pay your kids tax-free for helping in your business. Yep, I pay my 10-year-old for helping with my Instagram stories, and it counts. She gets income, I get deductions. Everybody wins.
