WHO IS DOUG COLLINS

Doug Collins is a home-based entrepreneur, author and coach.

In his early 20’s, Doug began to feel this innate desire to be self-employed working for himself. But it was not until 1998 when he took it seriously and started his first home-based business. With humble beginnings, Doug quickly built an international online business from home, part-time.

Two decades later, in 2010, Doug discovered that his corporate executive position was going to be terminated because of a North American reorganization and merger. That’s when he took the leap and walked away from a 22-year career to follow his long-held dream of being self-employed working from home, full-time.

While building his home-based business over the last decade, Doug also became even more focused on tax strategies that would allow him the opportunity to further reduce his income tax burden. It also became more apparent to Doug how great the need was for others to understand all the home-based tax write-offs.

Fast forward to March 2020, the pandemic hit full swing and society was being tossed the biggest challenge of anyone’s lifetime. While home on lockdown restrictions, Doug used this time to write and self-publish a book as a guide to help others learn how to “Write-Off Almost Anything” in their home-based business.

Today, Doug continues to build his own home-based direct sales business while supporting a community of open-minded motived home-based entrepreneurs across North America.
